Our Story

Violet and Rose grew up sharing the same bedroom, borrowing each other's clothes, and knowing each other's secrets. But as sisters sometimes do — they also brought out the worst in each other. The arguments built up over the years, one by one, until one night at a family dinner something broke that neither of them thought could ever be fixed. For six years, they didn't speak.

It was their father who brought them back together — not with words, but by getting sick. In a quiet hospital room, under cold fluorescent lights, Violet looked at Rose and said: "We've wasted so much time."

Rose didn't say anything. She just reached over and took her hand.

Six months later, they launched Violet & Rose New York — not in spite of everything that had happened, but because of it. Because who better to build something meaningful than two women who know firsthand what it feels like to start over?
